Where is Coral Sea Co based?  

Coral Sea Co is based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

 

Do you offer international shipping?

We do not currently offer international shipping but are working on this for the future.

 

What is Gold Fill?

Gold filled jewellery is your closest option to solid gold jewellery.

Gold filled jewellery is a more affordable alternative option to solid gold.

Gold filled Jewellery is a longer lasting material to gold plated as gold plated jewellery tarnishes quickly and can irritate skin. 

When gold filled jewellery is correctly cared for it can last years.

Gold fill is composed of a solid layer of gold mechanically bonded to a base metal. 

 

What is sterling silver?

Sterling silver is composed of 92.5% pure silver the other 7.5% of the alloy is generally copper, this helps strengthen the metal without compromising its appearance.
Pure silver alone can not be used as jewellery as it is too soft, it must be mixed.

 

Can I shower in my Coral Sea Co jewellery?

Yes you can! Make sure that your shampoos, conditioners and soaps are gentle as particular chemicals can negatively impact the look of the jewellery. If you are unsure remove your jewellery prior to showering. 

 

Regarding any of your fresh water pearl jewellery, we do recommend taking them off to shower/bathe/swim, however it is still fine to get them wet. To ensure no dust builds up around the edges we recommend giving the pearls a clean every so often using a soft toothbrush.
